The Sun — About 800 Native Americans from throughout North America — including those from Canada, Alaska, Montana and the Dakotas — converge on the Cal State San Bernardino campus for this weekend’s San Manuel Pow Wow.
For the 18th year, tribes of the North American continent will honor their traditional music, dance, crafts and food at the free three-day event, hosted by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
Weekend festivities, which take place on the university’s soccer fields, run from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday; 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
