CSU puts brakes on mid-year transfer students

KABC 7 — The California State University system is putting the brakes on mid-year transfer students due to the state’s budget crisis.

Only 10 CSU campuses — which includes Cal State San Bernardino — of the 23 in the system will accept any mid-year transfers in 2013, and the remaining schools will, for the first time, require incoming juniors to have an associate degree, not just community transfer credits.

Olivia Rosas, associate vice president of CSUSB’s enrollment services, is interviewed in the segment, broadcast Aug. 6, 2012.
