SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Spend a night at the museum. The Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum at Cal State San Bernardino will host its second annual Spooky Night on Friday, Oct. 30, and this year is adding a night of classic horror movies for CSUSB students on Saturday, Oct. 31. The evening, which not coincidentally falls just before Halloween, will start with a family friendly program from 6:30-9:30 p.m., featuring lectures on ancient Egyptian mummy curses, night tours through the museum's permanent Egyptian collection, trivia games and a costume contest. Refreshments and a holiday grab bag are all part of the fun. Cost for admission is $10 per family. On Halloween night, Saturday, Oct. 31, CSUSB students are invited to enjoy a "spooky night" from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. watching classic Halloween films in the museum. Students are welcome to bring their blankets and pillows as they enjoy pizza and popcorn with their "scary movie" experience. Cost for admission is $5 per person with a valid CSUSB student ID. Established in 1996, CSUSB's Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum has accumulated a permanent collection of nearly 1,200 objects focusing on Egyptian antiquities, ceramics, and contemporary art. With more than 7,500 square feet of gallery space, the RVF Art Museum magnificently displays a wide variety of art work from its permanent holdings to a dynamic schedule of visiting exhibitions. General admission is $3. CSUSB students, faculty and staff and children under the age of 6 are free. Discounts are available for senior citizens and groups. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Hours for the museum are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays. It is closed Sunday and Monday. Phone: (909) 537-7373.
