SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Inland Empire Women's Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will hold a workshop today, Tuesday, Oct. 20, on effective management of finances to help people who are considering launching a business or who already operate their own business.

The workshop will be from 9-11 a.m. at the Inland Empire Women's Business Resource Center, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 155, just off Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino. The cost is $15 if pre-registered online or $20 at the door.

Participants will learn effective cash flow management as it applies to accounts payable, accounts receivable, terms and conditions, and how to leverage financial resources.

Taught by a representative from Lucia & Co., the workshop will teach participants how to understand their business life cycle and how that cycle affects their cash flow. In addition, attendees will learn how to better manage cash flow through accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory turnover and cost controlling.
