9:20 a.m. The full extent of injuries and damages at the university are not available as of 9:20 a.m. Faculty, staff and students who are currently on campus have been moved to pre-designated safe zones as injuries and damages are assessed. Others are evacuating campus. The university is not permitting non-emergency personnel onto the campus. However, a pick-up zone has been established along Northpark Blvd. along the perimeter of the campus. The quake measured 7.8 on the Richter Scale and was centered in the Salton Sea area along the southern section of the San Andreas Fault. |
