9:15 a.m. update THIS IS ONLY A DRILL A powerful earthquake that rocked Southern California has caused damage to buildings at Cal State San Bernardino today, Thursday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m. The full extent of injuries and damages at the university are not available as of 9:15 a.m. Faculty, staff and students who are currently on campus have been moved to pre-designated safe zones as injuries and damages are assessed. The quake measured 7.8 on the Richter Scale and was centered in the Salton Sea area along the southern section of the San Andreas Fault. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL |
