CSUSB College of Business and Public Administration to host alumni networking event today

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The College of Business and Public Administration at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking alumni to meet for a networking event today, Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Ontario Convention Center.

The event, hosted by the Ontario Convention Center, will offer the university's CPBA alumni a chance to reconnect with former classmates, meet other graduates and reestablish ties with their school.

"We can continue to be a valuable resource for those who have finished their days in the classroom," said Karen Dill Bowerman, dean of CSUSB's College of Business and Public Administration. "This kind of gathering is a wonderful way for alumni to establish new professional contacts and reacquaint themselves with the opportunities we can offer, from assistance with research or other business projects to placing students who are eager to work outside the college in an internship with a local company or organization."

Bowerman will present an update on college activities as part of the evening's program.

Deborah Meredith, an alumna of the college and currently a recruiter for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will share her experiences in a presentation, "Tips and Tricks of the Interview Process".

The evening will include complimentary hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, and door prize and raffle drawings, along with networking opportunities.

The Ontario Convention Center is located at 2000 Convention Center Way in Ontario; parking is free. The event is from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
