CSUSB women's business center offers strategic approach for business management workshop in Fontana

FONTANA, Calif. - The Inland Empire Women's Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino, will offer workshop on strategic planning for businesses today, Thursday, Oct. 1, in Fontana for people who are considering launching or who already operate their own businesses.

"Strategic Approach For Business Management" will provide the needed tools to develop the mission and vision of a company that will assist through business start up and growth phases and to keep the business moving forward

The workshop, free and open to the public, will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Cypress Community Center, 8380 Cypress Ave., in Fontana.

The Inland Empire Women's Business Center (IEWBC) is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for and targeted to woman business owners.

The program also provides targeted services to Latina business owners (currently the fastest growing group of women-owned businesses in the country) by providing services in English and Spanish.

The Inland Empire Women's Business Center is located at the IECE Business Resource Center, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 155, just off Hospitality Lane, in San Bernardino. The center's hours of operation are: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center has a part-time outreach office in Corona.
