SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- Jumping Jack Flash, a world-renowned Rolling Stones tribute band, will be featured at Cal State San Bernardino's Summer Wednesdays concert series today, July 8.

Jumping Jack Flash's show will begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately two hours. The group will perform in CSUSB's Lower Commons Plaza. Admission is free, and parking is complimentary in Lot D. Bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs and a love of music.

The band has toured worldwide and developed the reputation of being one of the most authentic Stones tribute bands.

The group is comprised of Todd Loweth as lead vocalist Mick Jagger, Young Hutchinson as guitarist/vocalist Keith Richards, Pat Hennessy in a dual role as guitarist Brian Jones/Ron Wood, Gary Roach as drummer Charlie Watts, and John Burton as bassist Bill Wyman.

These "lads," as the British would call them, are considered one of the most accurate and authentic representations of the Stones in appearance, dress, mannerisms and especially in concert.

In concert, Pat Hennessy pulls off the dual role of two of the Stones' members, Brian Jones and Ron Wood. The dual roles stem from the band's two versions of the Stones' shows, one as their early incarnation from 1962-1969, and then as the group's latter version from 1970 to the present.

Brian Jones was a member of the original group until his untimely death from a drug overdose in 1969. A member of another band when Jones died, Wood joined the Stones in 1975, and has been their guitarist, along with Richards, ever since.
