Choose a Do-It-Yourself News Release:
- Upcoming event to publicize
- Newsworthy students, faculty, staff or alumni
- Receiving an award, honor or appointment
- Receiving a grant
- Publishing a book
- Publishing or Presenting Research
Remember that timeliness and/or newsworthiness are crucial to attract media coverage, so a release should be for a future or recent occurrence.
The public affairs staff also will evaluate each submission for newsworthiness.
