Cal State San Bernardino to close in observance of Memorial Day

     

Cal State San Bernardino and its Palm Desert Campus will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.

Both campuses will reopen on Tuesday, May 28. University Police will remain on duty on all days when the campus is closed.

The spring quarter will continue through the middle of June. Finals for students are scheduled June 11-14.

Transforming Lives and Communities Through Higher Education” will be celebrated throughout the weekend of June 13-16 at CSUSB, as the university will commemorate the investiture of Dr. Tomás D. Morales as the fourth president in its 48-year history on Friday, June 14, on campus at Coussoulis Arena.

The Presidential Investiture ceremony, which will be part of the university’s commencement weekend celebration, will formally invest Morales as CSUSB’s fourth president. Morales has served as president of Cal State San Bernardino since August 2012.

Commencement ceremonies for graduates are scheduled for June 13 (Palm Desert Campus), 15 and 16.
