Community college students interested in attending Cal State San Bernardino are encouraged to attend the university’s annual Transfer Day on Saturday, Feb. 23.

Community college students interested in attending Cal State San Bernardino are encouraged to attend the university’s annual Transfer Day on Feb. 23. Those planning to attend should R.S.V.P. by Feb. 18.
Aimed at providing information and assistance to community college students interested in transferring to CSUSB, the free event will allow community college and university transfer students to learn more about financial aid, housing, EOP, student services and clubs and organizations.
“With budget cuts and impaction, it’s important for students to stay updated on the latest admissions requirements and deadlines,” said Lucia Zarate, an admissions counselor at Cal State San Bernardino.
“Transfer students can come to CSUSB to make sure this is the right fit for them. We will showcase what we have to offer to further their education and gain valuable life experiences,” she said.
Faculty members representing most academic programs will be available to meet with attendees to discuss their potential majors or fields of study.
Campus tours will also be offered.
Transfer Day will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union. Complimentary parking will be available in Lot D.
Those planning to attend should R.S.V.P. by Feb. 18 to asrevents@csusb.edu or call (909) 537-5192.
For more information about Cal State San Bernardino, contact the university’s Office of Public Affairs at (909) 537-5007 and visit news.csusb.edu.
Hi I was wondering if it was to late to RSVP for tomorrow?? Or if we can just go?
Hi …
I just checked to see if the RSVP page was still up, but it’s not (the office closes at 5 p.m.). Since parking is free in Lot D, try just showing up to see if there is room, but I would advise you get there well before the 9 a.m. start.
Your other alternative — if you decide not to go — would be to contact the Office of Admissions & Student Recruitment at (909) 537-5188 to schedule an appointment to meet with an Admissions Counselor. They’re pretty good at helping out.
Hope that helps!

I do have to work on Saturday. Is there another time I can meet to discuss attending CSUSB? I earned my A.S. in December from Crafton with an emphasis on mathematics. I don’t know my career choices at this time and would appreciate support. I only have Sunday and Mondays off work. Thanks!
