CSUSB students pack food and clothes for the needy

Highland Community News — Eighteen Cal State San Bernardino students volunteered part of their weekend to help needy families and the homeless at San Bernardino City Mission in Highland.

The students spent Jan. 21 preparing 275 food boxes, each box weighing about 15 pounds, which will be delivered to needy families and seniors in the community, said Bryant Fairley, assistant director of the CSUSB Office of Community Engagement, which coordinated the university’s volunteer efforts.
