Our Sports Central — The Reno Bighorns acquired four players in the NBA Development League Draft on Sunday afternoon and completed a trade with the Los Angeles D-Fenders for Anthony January, a former Cal State San Bernardino basketball standout, and another player.
Following the draft, the Bighorns completed a trade with the LA D-Fenders to acquire the D-Fenders original 74th overall draft pick, January as well as guard Jamal Branch. The Bighorns exchanged their 52nd overall pick, Kourtlin Jackson, and the returning player rights to Bighorns former forward, David Wear. The trade is pending the successful completion of physicals.
As a Coyote, January averaged 10.6 points per game with a (.387 field goal percentage, .312 3-point percentage .721 free-throw percentage, as well as averaging 5.4 rebounds per game.
