Stockton Record — Kraig Clifton, a former Cal State San Bernardino basketball standout who’s fighting Stage IV pancreatic cancer, is returning to Calaveras High School as a teacher and boys basketball head coach after seeing a marked improvement in his health through chemotherapy treatment.
Clifton, who was diagnosed in December of 2015, is taking a two weeks-on, two weeks-off approach with oral chemo. The community has rallied around Clifton and his family by raising $190,000 to help with medical bills.
