Michigan strip club encourages local teens to apply

The Hamilton Spectator – In a story about a strip club in Harrison, Mich., hiring exotic dancers including the “class of 2016,” listed a 2006 study conducted by researchers in the psychology department of California State University, San Bernardino that compared the lives of 60 exotic dancers with the lives of 60 female students in an undergraduate psychology class who didn’t work in the industry. The study — entitled “Body Objectification, Self-Esteem, and Relationship Satisfaction: A Comparison of Exotic Dancers and College Women” — found marked differences between the values, feelings and experiences of both groups.
