Master the money maze of business financing with the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center

“Mastering the Money Maze: Secrets of Winning Business Financing” will be held July 30 at Brandman University in Riverside. The workshop is presented by the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.

Small business owners will have the opportunity to learn about business financing at a Wednesday, July 30, workshop featuring bestselling author and business strategist Dianne Wecklar and a panel of local business lenders.

“Mastering the Money Maze: Secrets of Winning Business Financing” will be held from 2-5 p.m. at Brandman University, 3550 Vine St., Ste. 200, Riverside, and is presented by the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.

The workshop will offer expert tips for winning business financing and reveal how to develop effective strategies to create successful funding proposals.  A panel of local business lenders will detail the various funding programs available for small businesses.

“Today’s funding environment is selective, and business owners need to know the best way to work with lenders and investors,” said Nicole Kinney, Inland Empire Women’s Business Center director. “Our goal is to increase the participants’ ability to make informed decisions regarding funding and prepare them for the next steps to access capital.”

The cost of the workshop is $40 per participant and includes a copy of Wecklar’s book, “Mastering the Money Maze.” To register, visit the IEWBC website.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, 3780 Market St. in Riverside, is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.
