The Press-Enterprise — Seven of every 10 survey respondents said Hemet is not a safe city in which to live, but only 40 percent said they are willing to pay more money for increased police service.
Those were among the findings from a quality-of-life survey conducted late last year for the Hemet Police Department by Cal State San Bernardino’s Institute of Applied Research. The City Council heard the results on Tuesday, April 22.
