The debate will begin at 6 p.m. at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union theater, 5500 University Parkway, and is also sponsored by the San Bernardino Sun, the CSUSB chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and San Bernardino Generation Now. Free parking is available on Lot D of the campus.
CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales will deliver the opening remarks. The format will consist of an hour-long debate with questions from a team of panelists: CSUSB political science professor Alemayehu G. Mariam, Sun metro editor Ryan Carter and San Bernardino Generation Now member and CSUSB student Richard Tejada, with Sun opinion editor Jessica Keating serving as moderator.
Following the debate, members of the audience will then be able to ask their own questions.
