Jones, who was this season’s CCAA Defensive Player of the Year, set four school records and helped the Coyotes reach the NCAA West Region finals this year. She set records in shutouts (season-13 and career-21) and victories (season-12 and career-23). She allowed just 17 goals in 23 games with a 0.70 GAA.
Senior Jasmine Bell and freshman Kiana Quarles earned second-team status.
Bell played in 66 career games with 62 starts and twice was named an All-CCAA honorable mention choice at her defender position.
Quarles, this season’s CCAA Freshman of the Year, led the Coyotes in goals (seven) and points (15).
Also, the NSCAA recognized coach Travis Clarke’s program with its Team Academic Award for holding a collective 3.24 GPA. It is the fourth straight season the Coyotes have been honored.
