The expo, which will be from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is for students, families and teachers who want to learn more about doing great science fair projects.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see winning projects and attend workshops to talk about their projects with real scientists and get ideas on how to do better science fair projects in their schools. Some workshops will be in Spanish.

The expo will take place in the campus’s Palm Desert Health Sciences Building.

Admission is free and parking is paid by Friends of the Palm Desert Campus.

The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus is at 37-500 Cook St.

There will be free bus service from Desert Hot Springs Middle School at 8:15 a.m. The bus will then leave the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus at 12:30 p.m. A parent or guardian must accompany all students.
