Parents sue over killing at Cal State San Bernardino


The Sun — The parents of a mentally ill Cal State San Bernardino student who was shot and killed on campus in December filed a federal wrongful-death lawsuit against the state and university Tuesday.

Attorneys representing the family of Bartholomew Williams, 38, filed the suit in U.S. District Court in Riverside.

CSUSB spokesman Sid Robinson said the university is waiting for results of an investigation by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office regarding the shooting.
