The Press-Enterprise — The parents of Bartholomew Williams, the mentally ill graduate student shot to death by Cal State San Bernardino police during a fight Dec. 8, filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday, March 5.
The lawsuit, whose allegations include wrongful death, negligence and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act, names the state, the university and Police Chief Jimmie Brown as defendants. It was filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
