Careers in Education Day set for March 7 at CSUSB

     

A career in education, whether as a teacher or administrator, still remains one of the most challenging and rewarding professions that any college student or graduate should consider for their future.

Education is even more important to consider as a career from the increasing calls for an educated workforce that will have to compete in a global economy.

For those interested in careers in education, Cal State San Bernardino will host its annual Careers in Education Day on Thursday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of the College of Education building on campus.

The event is free and parking at the university is $5 per vehicle.

The university’s College of Education faculty and staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions on education as a career and about pursuing studies toward a teaching credential, master’s degree or educational doctorate.
