SAN BERNARDINO: Cal State hosts former espionage suspect

     

The Press-EnterpriseThe Press-Enterprise – As an Army chaplain at Guantanamo Bay, James Yee, a Muslim, saw a lot he didn’t like. In his 2005 book, “For God and Country: Faith and Patriotism Under Fire,” Yee wrote about the prisoner abuse he said he observed while serving at the prison in Cuba. The United States still holds several hundred enemy combatants, most of whom were captured in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yee will discuss that and his own ordeals when he speaks at Cal State San Bernardino at noon Thursday, Feb. 7.
