L.A. Chicano mural history documented via San Bernardino


KCET — The public television station’s website features Cal State San Bernardino professor emeritus Elliott Barkan, whose exhibit, “Chicano Muralists in Southern California, 1968-1985: LA-KCET LogoThe First Generation of a Cultural Revolution — Through the Camera of Elliott Robert Barkan,” features photographed works from a litany of prominent muralists, including Judith Baca, Charles (Cat) Felix Jr., Gronk, Willie Herron and David Lopez.

It is now on display at CSUSB’s Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art through May 25.
