Palm Desert Patch — Screen star George Montgomery’s 1959 film “King of the Wild Stallions” will be shown this Sunday at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus.

PatchThe school earlier this week announced plans to screen Montgomery’s 1941 film “Riders of the Purple Sage,” but the change is necessary due to distribution rights and availability, Mike Singer, CSUSB Palm Desert Campus spokesman, said Feb. 20 in a phone interview.

The film will be shown at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the campus’s Indian Wells Theater. Admission is $5 cash at the door and includes parking.
