Black History Expo and 44th Annual Black History Parade set

     

HighlandCNHighland Community News – As part of its coverage for Black History Month, the newspaper writes about Cheryl Brown, who for more three decades has served her community. Brown, who has a bachelor’s degree from Cal State San Bernardino, went to work for the San Bernardino County Planning Department. She later served on the County and City Planning Commissions for 17 years. In 1980, Cheryl and her husband Hardy founded Brown Publishing Company to produce a local paper, The Black Voice News.
