Women’s business center hosts workshop on how to start a business

     

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will hold a low-cost workshop on Tuesday, Jan. 29, to help people considering launching a new business or who are at the beginning stages of operating their own businesses.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will hold a low-cost workshop on Tuesday, Jan. 29, to help people considering launching a new business or who are at the beginning stages of operating their own businesses.

“Prepare to Launch II — The ABC’s of Starting a Business,” is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at the center office, 202 E. Airport Dr., in San Bernardino. The cost is $10 for those who pre-register online or $15 at the door. Register early by visiting the IEWBC workshops website or by calling (909) 890-1242.

Participants will receive contact information for the myriad of government and business entities that are part of the start-up process. The workshop also will have information on funding sources for local existing and aspiring small business owners.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners. The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
