Hidden Harvest First to be Honored by Spotlight Grant

     

Palm Desert Patch – California State University, San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus is one among the dozen recipients of the 2013 Coachella Valley Spotlight Grant presented by the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation. Hidden Harvest, a non-profit organization is a program that saves good produce left in farmers’ fields after their harvests and gives it to those in need throughout the Coachella Valley, was named as the first recipient of a $25,000 grant.
