Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, known for his shows, “I’m Not Fat … I’m Fluffy” and “Hot & Fluffy,” will perform at Cal State San Bernardino’s Coussoulis Arena on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The show begins at 8 p.m.
Iglesias has been described as a witty, electrifying and talented performer, who has the ability to consistently deliver a uniquely hilarious comedy experience. His high-octane show is a sure-fire hit: a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life. Iglesias’ unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.
His first two DVD specials “Hot & Fluffy” and “I’m Not Fat … I’m Fluffy” have sold well over 1 million copies. In response to the demand, Iglesias will record a third one-hour Comedy Central DVD special, “Aloha Fluffy” to air on Comedy Central in spring 2013.
“Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution,” premiered on Comedy Central in October 2011 and it was one of the highest rated stand-up series on the network. The series starred Igelsias, who hosted and performed stand-up material and featured an array of talented and diverse comedians, which he personally selected.
The second season of “Stand-Up Revolution” was taped in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and premiered on Comedy Central in fall of 2012.
Iglesias was individually nominated for a 2012 ALMA Award in the category: Favorite TV Reality, Variety, or Comedy Personality or Act.
Iglesias’ numerous television credits include: Cartoon Network’s “The Annoying Orange,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Conan,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” FOX TV’s “The Family Guy,” “Good Morning America,” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”
He has co-hosted top rated YouTube series, Ray William Johnson’s “=3” and “Epic Meal Time.” Iglesias also starred in the Warner Bros. mega-hit movie, “Magic Mike.”
He was top billed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festivals in Montreal and Toronto. In 2009 and 2010, Gabriel was selected to headline the unique Amman Jordan Comedy Festival, the first of its kind in the Arab world. He has sold out performances around the globe, including Australia, Europe, the U.K. and Saudi Arabia.
Tickets go on sale beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Coussoulis Arena box office and through all TicketMaster Ticket Centers. Prices are $38 for general admission, $48 loge-reserved and $68 gold circle seating.
Cal State San Bernardino student ticket prices are $33 with a Coyote ID, and university faculty and staff receive a $3 discount on all seating except gold circle.
