CSUSB School of Social Work to hold info session on Jan. 22


The Cal State San Bernardino’s School of Social Work will host an information session about the graduate degree in social work on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 3:30 p.m., at the university’s Palm Desert Campus.

PDC entranceCSUSB faculty members will discuss the new Pathway Distance Education Program, in particular the master of social work distance education program.

Teresa Morris, director of the Pathway Program, and Rachel Strydom, director of field education for the CSUSB School of Social Work, will present information on how to apply and develop a strong application to the M.S.W. program, the curriculum for the new M.S.W. offered via distance education, field placement requirements for the M.S.W. degree and an overview of the field of social work and career options.

Following the presentation, Morris and Strydom will be available to answer questions and provide additional information on the field of social work.

The meeting will take place in Room RG 213. The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus is located at 37-500 Cook St.
