The Sun — Gov. Jerry Brown’s proposed budget released Jan. 10 includes $250 million more for the California State University system, while Proposition 30′s passage in November saved them from a $250 million mid-year trigger cut.
But it’s not enough revenue for a higher education system that’s seen more than $1 billion in cuts in recent years, says Timothy P. White, chancellor of the 23-campus California State University system, which includes Cal State San Bernardino.
