‘Walk to Remember’: Tearful tribute to the loss of infants

     

The Sun — Matt and Kristen Franklin walked for Allyson Grace on Saturday.┬áThe Redlands couple, who lost their baby daughter on Jan. 8, said they think of her every day.

The Sun (San Bernardino County)Sarah and Jonathan Miles of Rancho Cucamonga walked for their son, Brayden Jordan, who they lost June 26, 2007.

The families were among more than 300 that gathered Saturday morning at Cal State San Bernardino to remember the babies who live on only in their hearts.

The “Walk to Remember-IE,” sponsored by the CSUSB Institute for Child Development and Family Relations, commemorated the lives of the hundreds of thousands of families affected by the passing of a baby, whether through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or infancy loss of any kind.
