SAT prep courses this month at CSUSB Palm Desert Campus

Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning will offer a special preparation course for the Scholastic Aptitude Test on Saturday, Oct. 13,and Saturday, Oct. 20, at CSUSB’s Palm Desert Campus.

The course is specifically geared for high school juniors and seniors planning on taking the SAT test offered on Nov. 3 or after. All question types on the test will be covered and a number of short-form tests will be given to provide practice in actual testing conditions.

“We have noticed a recent increase in the demand for this type of affordable test prep course,” said Steve McAdams, program administrator at CSUSB’s Palm Desert Campus. “My sense is that students are more concerned in today’s competitive environment about getting accepted to a good college.”

The two-session course is held at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus on consecutive Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The cost is $155 and the official SAT study guide is included with the registration fee.
