Hate crime, terrorism symposium

     

The Friday Flyer (Canyon Lake) — The community newsletter, in a news briefs column, lists a symposium on FridayFlyer_CanyonLake_hate crime and terrorism that will be led by Brian Levin, director of Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge, hosted by Congregation B’nai Chaim. Joining Levin will be Pete Simi, a criminal justice professor and co-author of “American Swastika: Inside the White Power Movement’s Hidden Spaces of Hate.”
