FBI statistics show drop in violent crime

     

The Sun — Stephen Tibbetts, a criminal justice professor at Cal State San Bernardino, is quoted in an article about the latest FBI crime statistics for the Inland Empire.

The Sun (San Bernardino County)Burglaries and other property crimes rose in many Inland Empire cities in 2011, while violent crimes such as murder dipped in Pomona and rape decreased in Redlands and Rialto, according to statistics released Monday by the FBI.

The article was published Oct. 29, 2012, and also appeared in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
