Inland Valley Daily Bulletin — For the 17th year, nearly 500 Native American tribal members from across North America gathered over the weekend to honor their history and culture at the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians’ annual Native American Pow Wow at Cal State San Bernardino.
Native Americans gathered to celebrate the spiritual and social experiences in the powwow through competitive dances, an exchange of cultural ideas, songs and more. Native dances and music set the stage for competitive performers – including men, women and children.
