Coyotes’ kids may be all right, after all

     

The Press-Enterprise — After so long as the behemoth of the West Region and a regular at the top of the Division II Top 25, Cal State San Bernardino volleyball is just another team right now. And maybe that’s not such a bad thing.

“Funny enough, dropping out of the top 25 was quite liberating,” head coach Kim Cherniss said Saturday night, after the Coyotes achieved their biggest victory of 2012 to date, a four-set triumph over No. 18 Chico State at Coussoulis Arena that ran their record to 5-1 in the CCAA but 8-6 overall.
