The Press-Enterprise — The newspaper, in an editorial, comes out against Assembly Bill 2132, which, if approved, would require community service by faculty 
for the California State University and University of California to be part of their tenure policies.
The newspaper wrote: “But there is no need for this bill — and the legislative meddling would trample over academic independence for dubiously political reasons.”
