The Press-Enterprise – Orders are coming in and product is moving out of Inland Southern California’s factories, but there are new concerns that the sector that helped propel the economy forward for three years is losing steam. The Purchasing Managers’ Index for Riverside and San Bernardino counties was 52.0 in August, the Institute for Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino reported. The August figure is down from last month’s 53.1.
