The Sun — Mark Edwards, a member of the Cal State San Bernardino foundation board, wrote an opinion piece in support of Proposition 30, the Governor’s Tax Initiative, which would raise taxes in support of K-12 and higher education in the state.
He wrote, “If Proposition 30 fails … education in California will not only lose critical additional funding, it will see state funding decrease further. … In the Inland Empire, reduced support for higher education will have even more dramatic effects.”
