Inland Empire manufacturing remains in growth mode, national manufacturing shrinks

     

dailybulletinInland Valley Daily Bulletin – The Inland Empire’s manufacturing sector remained in growth mode last month, although national manufacturing appears to be on a slight decline. The local Purchasing Managers’ Index for August registered at 52, according to the Cal State San Bernardino survey results released Tuesday. July’s figure was 53.1. Any number greater than 50 indicates manufacturing is growing.
