San Diego Sikh community reaches out after mass shooting in Wisconsin

     

KPBS — Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San KPBSBernardino, is interviewed in a segment about the San Diego Sikh community reacting to the Aug. 6 mass shooting at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee, Wis.

Authorities are treating the incident, which left seven people dead, including the accused shooter, Wade Michael Page, as domestic terrorism. Page reportedly has been linked to the white supremacist movement.

The interview was aired Aug. 7, 2012.
