The Press-Enterprise — Redlands’ former police chief and Cal State San Bernardino graduate, Jim 
Bueermann, has been named president of the Police Foundation, a national nonprofit organization that supports innovation in policing.
Bueermann was chosen after a national search by the organization’s board of directors and will begin the new job Sept. 17.
The article misidentified CSUSB’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences; Bueermann was inducted into the college’s inaugural Hall of Fame class in 2009.
