New CSUSB president Morales begins work with 12-hour day

     

The Sun — For his first day at his new job at Cal State San Bernardino on Wednesday, Tomas D. The Sun (San Bernardino County)Morales reported to work at 6:30 a.m. And he barely stopped moving all day.

“It’s been a long ‘hello,’ ” he said, shortly before 5 p.m. in his new office. “But, you know, it’s a labor of love.”

Morales is the new president of Cal State San Bernardino. The new academic year begins Sept. 12, and classes begin on Sept. 20.
