Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education — There’s a new face in the president’s office at California State University, San Bernardino.
Tomás D. Morales officially takes over as CSUSB president today, Wednesday, Aug. 15. He is just the fourth president in the history of the university since it opened in 1965, following founding president John M. Pfau, Anthony H. Evans and Albert K. Karnig. Karnig retired earlier this month after guiding Cal State San Bernardino for the past 15 years.
