The Oregonian (Portland) — Karen Bowerman, who retired as dean of Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Business and Public Administration in 2011, is back at it. The Republican candidate who tried to replace U.S. Rep. Kurt Schrader earlier this year announced her run for Lake Oswego City Council last week, the day after the official filing period started.
Bowerman, 65, volunteers with the 50+ Advisory Board and with Northwest Oregon advising small businesses and startups.
