The Press-Enterprise — It was a secondary consideration when UCLA decided to move its training camp here, true, but those folks showing up at Cal State San Bernardino to watch the football Bruins practice may very well include some recruits. Or potential recruits. Or maybe future recruits.
And in a business where getting your name out there and getting the attention of 16- and 17-year-olds is critical, this amounts to two weeks worth of free advertising for the Bruins in an increasingly talent-rich area, as well as an opportunity for the kids to do some window shopping.
