‘Breaking Bad’ professor preliminary hearing dates set

     

The Press-Enterprise — The next two court appearances for Cal State San Bernardino kinesiology professor Stephen Kinzey, including a preliminary hearing to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to make him stand trial, have been scheduled for Oct. 19 and Oct. 23.

Press-EnterpriseKinzey, who is on paid administrative leave, is accused of running a methamphetamine-selling operation out of his Highland home. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to distribute illegal narcotics, being in possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm and participating in a criminal street gang.
